9/15/2016 0 Comments September 15th, 2016Two-n-OneMy two in one project is a combination of a jelly fish and doughnut, which I call a Jelly Doughnut, funny huh? I had fun with the project, but if I could change anything it would be the color of the sprinkles. I wish they could of had color, I think that would of gave it a more doughnut look. As you might can tell, I used charcoal. I love charcoal because it's so easy to erase your mistakes, and trust me I messed up a lot. Water color sphereThis is one of the many warm ups that have helped me. Especially when we're doing a water color coming up in the next few weeks.

Charcoal is definitely fun to draw with, like everything, it has pros and cons. The "pros" are that if you mess up, you just rub it back in! It's that easy, plus you don't have to completely restart your whole piece. The "cons" of working with charcoal is that it is super messy, it also makes a horrible screech when pressing down hard on a paper.
Below is one of the many warm ups that I have learned from the most. I love the grid, because it helps you figure out almost the exact position of the picture you're going to draw. Of course you don't have to draw the grid as dark as I had, but like I said, it's just a warm up.9/6/2016 0 Comments Artist I'm inspired by.Christopher Jobson launched in 2010, lives in Chicago, Illinois with his wife Meagan, son Caleb, and dog Mojo. Jobson works with materials such as different types of plants, rocks, fish, and so much more. Jobson was raised on a farm in Texas and also in Chicago. Jobson is a hard worker and enjoys every minute of his full-time gig. He calls this work of art " Aquascaping" that is something you don't hear everyday! Can you imagine waiting that long for a plant to grow! Go check him out at Christopher.jobs/on/. You can also find him on Instagram and Twitter. Christopher Jobson's work inspires me because of how much patience it took to fully grow the "Aquascape", whether it was a few months or even years. His work is very pleasing to the eye when you spot the little cactus or trees and little fish are swimming around them. It's a very unique style and something that you don't see everyday. I'm really glad Jobson does what he does!
