6/1/2018 0 Comments Rainbow DropThe Umbrella is used for different vegetables and the little cup would be the ranch cup.
I chose this idea because it was raining and I had forgot my umbrella so I decided to make one into my piece. I I used clay for this and different glazes for my piece and they came together really nicely.

6/1/2018 0 Comments Bloom Bloom BloomI love the colors and the little critters I chose to put on my piece.
I would not change anything I love everything about this piece I have a lot of different reliefs in my project which makes my piece stick out. 6/1/2018 0 Comments Fired upSo first I coiled and shaped my piece first
- I let it dry and smoothed it out - I gave it to Mrs. Sukmap to fire it at her house where she put acid and newspapers -After I got it back I used a paint brush to brush off the nasties and then I sprayed it with a clear seal spray. It was successful to me because it was in a heart shape but I didn't like the smell I didn't burn anything onto because I couldn't find the materials I wanted to use. 6/1/2018 0 Comments Flower PowerMy group made this flower with chicken wire, newspapers, cardboard, paper towels, flour-water mixture, tape, paint, and patience.
- Sculpt wire to make the huge pot-/flower stem and put the ripped newspaper in the mixture which we then applied to the chicken wire. -Cut cardboard petals at different lengths and paint. -After the pot is done drying, paint and apply the marbles. I find our piece amazing because it's bright and vibrant. It wasn't that hard to make especially if you have some good friends to help out. The only difficult thing that happened was trying to get the flower into the pot, the flower was really heavy and unstable. It was a medium piece and it took about 7-10 layers give or take. 1/18/2017 0 Comments Final Exam• Art Criticism Project process • 1. Describe - tell exactly what you see. 2. Analyze - use the elements/principles to reflect upon the art form. 3. Interpret - consider: * What is the artist trying to say? * What caused the artist to say it? * What is the historical milieu that surrounds the work of art? * Why was the work of art created in this particular style? 4. Elevate - How successful or important is the work of art? Old post vvvvv 1. I see a vase , that still needs a lot of work. It's very dark because I used charcoal. Not much detail, but is made out of glass. The vase is on the left with a lot of space on the right. 2. This piece has a lightly shaded background. It contains a vase that has white highlights and a dark vase. 3. The artist is trying to show a flower vase that was in front of her, she thought it was really pretty. The shadows and highlights are trying to set a 2D effect. The highlights are also trying to show it's glass. 4. I feel like the piece is really plain. It could use something on the right. More highlights on the vase and more detail. Question 7 • The point of this class is to express yourself in my opinion. It's a way of life and helps you relax. It shows how to release your imagination and be creative. It makes you look at the world differently. • I learned a lot from this class. I love the teacher and the friends that helped me with my piece along the way. I learned a lot about shading and how to express myself. Question 8 • The warm up that I've learned from the most is probably learning how to do water color and acrylic textures. Question 14
• The technique I used that really worked well is charcoal. It's really easy to use, and erases easy too. If you mess up, don't worry because you can blend it in and no one would even tell. 1/17/2017 0 Comments Final project ):• I chose to weave because I've never done it before. I went with a dream catcher because I though it would be a really unique project. •• Although it takes a lot of time,it's really easy and very fun. You just attach whatever kind of yarn you want to the needle and go under over a string your you previously tied around your loom. After I got finished I hot glued feathers for the final touch. ••• I really like my piece, I think it's original. I've been wanting to learn how to weave for a while and I'm glad I thought about combining a dream catcher with it. •••• If I could change one thing it would probably be the color of the feathers, the place I went to (AC Moore) didn't have that many to choose from.

The first painting is of my boyfriend and me, I chose that because I miss him very much. The second painting is of my little sister, I chose this for her Christmas present. 12/12/2016 0 Comments Wired Tree, clay bowl.I made a clay bowl and sat it in a spiral-wired tree. What inspired me was this wooden carving I seen on Pinterest. I wanted to see if I could create that piece with clay. I really like my piece, so did a lot of other people. I think everything goes together really good. I feel like it's missing something but I can't figure out what. I WOULD LOVE TO SIGN UP FOR SCULPTURE. |
